Thank you for visiting the newly revitalized Jessamine County PVA website. This information is being offered to you as a free public service. This online website has been developed as an extension of our PVA Office to provide you with the most current information regarding properties within the boundaries of Jessamine County, Kentucky.

Our online website provides you with an overview of the duties and functions of the PVA Office and the Kentucky Property Tax System, as well as, important forms and generalized information concerning property records.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Jessamine County PVA Office is to provide courteous, accurate and efficient services to the residents of Jessamine County and any other individual or entity needing our services. This office is bound by the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Constitution and Statutes, and we make it our mission to serve you in a competent manner. We are dedicated in assisting you with accurate information and in providing fair and timely assessments of real property.

Did You Know

  • The Riney-B Railroad Company was incorporated on March 10, 1888.
  • Jessamine County became the 36th county in the state. Today, Kentucky consists of a total of 120 counties.
  • The first 4th of July celebration West of the Alleghenies was held in Jessamine County in 1794 on the plantation of Colonel William Price.
  • Jessamine County had the first all-female jury in the United States in November, 1920 Circuit Court.
  • The first and only fort in Jessamine County was established in 1779 near Keene, KY by Levi Todd.
  • Door to door mail delivery began in Jessamine County in 1926.
  • In October, 1799, the first lot sold in Jessamine County.
  • Subdivisions started in Jessamine County in the late 1940's.
  • In 1897, Jessamine County got its first telephone and phonograph.
  • All of the southern border of Jessamine County is formed by The Kentucky River. It extends roughly 42 miles long.
